Dr. Joseph Molisani, DDS
Originally from Rochester, New York, Dr. Molisani is excited to call Salt Lake City home. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his bachelor's degree in mathematical biology and molecular biology. After working as a data analyst, he found his way to dentistry—a field that combines his love of problem-solving, detailed work, and helping others.
Dr. Molisani earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. During dental school, he developed a particular interest in complex restorative care and how rebuilding a smile can improve someone's everyday life. That interest led him to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he completed a three-year specialty residency in prosthodontics and served as Chief Resident.
As a prosthodontist, Dr. Molisani specializes in restoring and replacing teeth, from a single crown to a full-mouth reconstruction. His advanced training includes crowns, bridges, veneers, implant dentistry, complete and partial dentures, and management of TMJ dysfunction. He enjoys getting to know his patients, understanding their concerns, and helping them make sense of their treatment options. Whether someone needs a small repair or more comprehensive care, his goal is to help them feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their smile.
Dr. Molisani also enjoys the technical and creative sides of dentistry. He incorporates intraoral scanners, 3D printing, and digital design into his work to help plan and personalize treatment. He values continuing education and enjoys sharing his knowledge with colleagues and team members.
Outside the office, Dr. Molisani and his wife, Stephanie, enjoy exploring Utah's mountains and discovering local restaurants. The two met in dental school and share a love of the outdoors and good food. His free time often includes hiking, biking, learning to ski, cooking, or catching a baseball or football game. He also enjoys relaxing at home with their cats, Nova and Cosmo.
